Average Earnings Dropout and Adjustment
These inputs exclude or adjust earnings units based on zero earnings or amounts measured from selected Reported Amounts.
- Exclude if earnings equal zero: Removes a zero-earnings unit from the average.
- Exclude if Reported Amount total is below threshold: Removes a unit when the combined dropout amounts are below the applicable threshold.
- Fixed Threshold: Uses the same threshold throughout the provision period.
- History of Thresholds: Uses effective-dated threshold amounts.
- Adjust threshold for partial periods: Prorates the exclusion threshold for a partial unit.
- Include amounts below threshold if they increase the average: Retains a below-threshold unit when its inclusion increases the final average.
- Adjust earnings amount below Adjustment Threshold: Annualizes an earnings unit when the selected Reported Amount total is within the configured adjustment range.
- Adjustment Method: The Multiply method divides the numerator by the measured amount. The Divide method divides the measured amount by the denominator.
- Adjustment Threshold: Reported Amount level at which the adjustment begins to apply.
- Ratio Numerator/Denominator: Target amount used to develop the annualization adjustment.
- Rounding of Adjustment: Rounds the adjustment factor before it is applied to earnings.
- Reported Amounts: Lists the sources combined when testing thresholds and developing adjustments.
